Gold Coast coach Garth Brennan has given his side a tongue lashing after a poor defensive effort against the Cowboys ended in a 26-14 loss.
“We obviously don’t handle things that go against us very well,” Brennan said while comparing Saturday night’s game in Townsville to the humiliating 46-point loss to the Dragons in round three.
“It happened in the Dragons game. It happened again here,” he said while struggling to keep his frustration at bay.

It’s the Titan’s fourth defeat of the season and sees them slip to tenth on the ladder.
The side also boasts the unwanted title of the NRL’s worst defence so far this season.
