Titans injury woes postpone naming of final team to take on Broncos

TITANS coach John Cartwright has held off on naming his final side to take on the Broncos on Friday night.

The top-of-the-table Gold Coast will host third-placed Brisbane at CBus Super Stadium in Robina for the much-anticipated Queensland derby.

The local club continues to monitor the fitness of five-eighth Aidan Sezer and fullback William Zillman (hamstring), with a final call to be made tomorrow.

Cartwright has named a provisional side, with Sezer in the starting line-up.

Centre Brad Tighe, who injured his right shoulder while scoring a try over Melbourne, is sidelined for at least four weeks.

If Sezer plays, Maurice Blair will switch back to the centres to replace Tighe.

Davd Mead has been named in the provisional side at fullback, while Zillman will also be checked when the team resumes training tomorrow, after having a day off today.
