Titans resign White for another two years

THE TITANS have locked in the future of prop Matthew White, who has re-committed to the local NRL club.

White, 30, is in his 10th season in the NRL and has been rewarded for his strong form in 2014 with a new two-year contract.

The Titans’ website reports, he is just three games away from recording 100 matches for the Gold Coast.

“As a young player my dream was to play in the NRL like many kids and this contract will bring me to the 12 years as an NRL player which I’m proud of,” White said.

“I’ve had six years at the Titans now and love playing here; I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and the other boys and want to do my bit to bring the club success.”

“It’s a relief after coming off the knee reconstruction to now have my future settled but I know I have to keep performing to stay in the side with a lot of depth in the front row.”
