Titans rule out making a bid for Robbie Farah

Gold Coast Titans aren’t expected to make a bid for outgoing Wests Tigers skipper Robbie.

The NSW No.9 has been told he’s free to leave the Tigers at the end of the current NRL season despite having two years to run on his contract.

The Titans have plenty of salary cap room available following Daly Cherry-Evans’ backflip and the impending departures of captain Nate Myles, giant back-rower Dave Taylor and five-eighth Aidan Sezer.

Current Titans player of the year and regular first-choice No.9 Beau Falloon has also been told he’ll not be offered a contract at the end of the year.

But with youngster Kierran Moseley and utility Daniel Mortimer to be joined by veteran Nathan Friend in the club’s hooker options next season, it appears the side isn’t in need to Farah’s services.
