GOLD Coast Titans star Ashley Harrison may hang his boots up earlier than expected.
After suffering a broken neck in round nine, Harrison made a comeback last week but suffered a “burner” injury in his shoulder as a result of nerve damage around the area.

In April the 33 year-old announced his retirement at the end of the season, however the ongoing neck injury has him considering an earlier departure from the NRL.
He has taken at least two weeks off to decide whether he will continue to play on.
Harrison told the Courier Mail he has not yet made a final decision but will be happy either way.
He said, “It’s just a matter of seeing how it settles down, then we’ve got to get some nerve tests done and just make sure that if I keep playing I won’t lose power in that arm.”
