Titans welcome back injured stars for Panthers clash

THE TITANS will be looking to get back on the NRL winner’s list with a near full-strength side to line up against the Panthers.

Co-captains Greg Bird and Nate Myles will return for Saturday’s clash at Cbus Super Stadium, along with Kevin Gordon, Brad Takairangi and Albert Kelly who have all recovered from injury.

James Roberts, who has had three matches for Tweed Seagulls in the Intrust Super Cup since recovering from a fractured leg, has been included in a five-man bench.

Gold Coast coach John Cartwright explained, he won’t make a decision on the final line-up until match day.

The Titans will go into the clash without an established goal-kicker but have several options and will make a decision late in the week with Maurice Blair, Brad Tighe and Bird having kicked at NRL level and William Zillman and Kevin Gordon among the options.

Beau Fallon (back), Ashley Harrison (neck) and Aidan Sezer (pectoral) remain on the injured list with Falloon hoping to return the following weekend.

Despite coming out firing at the start of the season, the Titans are coming off three losses and are currently in the bottom eight.
