Titans Without Mead For Clash With Raiders

The Gold Coast Titans will enter today’s home clash against Canberra without winger David Mead who is suffering from a hamstring injury.

Mead will be replaced by Kalifa Faifai Loa as the Titans hope to build on last Monday’s 14-10 win over South Sydney.

Titans’ coach John Cartwright says the Raiders boast a big, aggressive pack like the Rabbitohs and he’ll be sticking to the same game-plan to overcome the visitors.

In the other game today the Sharks host fellow strugglers Newcastle.

Last night Parramatta suffered a shocking 48-nil loss to the in-form Warriors, largely due to the loss of co-captains Jarryd Hayne and Tim Mannah, while the Storm’s finals chances are looking glum, after a tense 6-4 defeat by the Bulldogs.
