Toddler airlifted to hospital from popular Qld tourist spot

A TODDLER has been airlifted to hospital this morning, after suffering what is believed to be the effects of a medical condition.

The Careflight Rescue Helicopter rushed to Orchid Beach on Fraser Island at 6.00am to assess a two-year-old boy.

It is believed the boy’s family were visiting the region from the Sunshine Coast, when he developed symptoms just before dawn.
