Toddler falls from US roller-coaster in horrifying accident
A young boy has been airlifted to hospital after plunging from a rollercoaster at an amusement park in western Pennsylvania.
The child, who is believed to be aged about three-years-old, fell from the popular wooden ‘Rollo Coaster’ ride at Idlewild and SoakZone.
He is believed to have suffered serious head and chest injuries.
The amusement park took to Twitter following the accident:
Our thoughts and concerns are with the injured boy and his family. Idlewild&SoakZone remain open however, Rollo Coaster is closed.

It is unknown how the child fell, however the roller-coaster has been closed pending further investigation.

It comes just days after a 10-year-old boy died on a ride dubbed the ‘world’s tallest water slide’ at a waterpark in Kansas.
