A toddler has been rushed to hospital after nearly drowning at a home on the northern Gold Coast this afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to a house in Upper Coomera just before 4.30pm following reports of a “post immersion incident”.
Upon arrival, they found a male toddler in a serious condition.

The youngster was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported to Gold Coast University Hospital.
It’s not yet known how the toddler came into trouble.
