A THREE-year-old girl has been killed in a horrific accident at a busy service station north of Brisbane.
The tragedy happened at a BP service centre off the Bruce Highway at Burpengary on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 5pm and arrived to find the child with critical injuries.

It’s understood the toddler had been run over by a ute after reportedly running out in front of the vehicle.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, however, who performed CPR on the little girl, she could not be saved.
Queensland Police confirmed in a statement that the three-year-old died from her injuries at the scene.

It happened in the servo’s bustling carpark, which is also shared with a number of fast food restaurants.
Floral tributes were laid at the scene on Friday morning.
It’s understood the driver of the vehicle was taken to Caboolture Hospital where they were treated for shock.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
