Toddler run over by car taken to GC uni hospital

A toddler is in the Gold Coast University Hospital after he was run over by a car in northern New South Wales.

The 19-month-old was hit when the vehicle his father was working on rolled backwards at Kyogle on Wednesday afternoon.

The boy was initially treated at Lismore Hospital, but was later airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital with abdominal injuries and cuts and scrapes.
