Toddler rushed to hospital after falling from apartment window

A 2-year-old boy is in a serious but stable condition after falling from a third-story apartment window in Sydney.

Just before 1.30pm on Saturday, emergency crews were called to a unit block on Wharf Road in Gladesville where they found the toddler seriously injured.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics for leg, head and possible internal injuries.

The child was then rushed to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a serious but stable condition.

It’s understood police are speaking with the youngster’s parents.

Investigations are continuing.
