Toddler rushed to hospital in serious condition after being pulled from Gold Coast pool
A TODDLER has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after being pulled from a Gold Coast pool this morning.
Emergency services rushed to a home in Varsity Lakes just before 9.00am after receiving reports a baby girl had fallen into a pool.
Paramedics confirmed that they treated the 18-month-old girl at the scene, before she was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
It is the third near drowning incident on the Gold Coast in the past two weeks.
It comes just days after a 10-year-old boy passed away after being pulled unconscious from a Gold Coast hinterland pool.
