Toddler stabbed with heroin filled needle

A TODDLER has been stabbed with a heroin filled needle, after she sat down on the seat of a public bus.

Alysha Zambra, aged just three years old, allegedly hopped on a bus with her mother in Dublin when she was stabbed by the needle.

The toddler was rushed to hospital and now faces a nervous wait for blood results which will reveal whether or not the young girl contracted a disease from the needle.

“We have to wait and see for the HIV tests to come back. But to know that my daughter put her finger on something that was stuck into someone’s vein makes me sick,”  Zambra’s mother told the Irish Mirror.

“No parent should ever have to go through this. This country is ruined by heroin.”

Dublin Bus are investigating the incident.
