Toddlers hit by car, one thrown from pram, in Sydney’s inner west

Two toddlers have reportedly been hit by a car in Sydney’s inner west.

The two children, both believed to be under three years of age, were reportedly struck in Marrickville, near the intersection of Llewellyn Street and Edgeware Road, at around 2.55pm.

There are reports car hit a pram, throwing one child to the ground.

Paramedics treated to both toddlers at the scene, one of whom had suffered head injuries, before conveying them to Sydney Children’s Hospital for further treatment and observation.

They are both believed to be in a stable condition, though the extent of their injuries remains unclear.

It’s understood the car was travelling at relatively low speed at the time of the collision.
