Tomic gets his game back on track

Bernard Tomic has advanced at the Colombia Open.

The Gold Coast product won through to the second round of the hardcourt event in  Bogota on Thursday.

Tomic managed to get up over fifth-seeded Colombian Alejandro Falla 6-1, 7-6 (7-2).


The 21-year-old, who has been reportedly been dropped by management company IMG, will meet Vasek Pospisil in the quarter-finals.

Tomic recently fell a few places to 124th in the ATP rankings following his early exit at Wimbledon.
