TONY Abbott appears to be picking up where he left off as Australian Prime Minister.
He is currently in London, where he has delivered his first major speech since being ousted as leader of the Coalition.
Mr Abbott has told European leaders to close their borders and turn back asylum seekers or risk ‘catastrophic error’ during the second annual Margaret Thatcher Lecture.

“No country or continent can open its borders to all comers without fundamentally weakening itself,” he said.
“It will require some force, it will require massive logistics and expense; it will gnaw at our consciences… Yet it is the only way to prevent a tide of humanity surging through Europe and quite possibly changing it forever.”
Europe is currently in the middle of a migrant crisis as people flee the worn torn Middle East.
