Torah Bright claims Australia’s first medal in Sochi

AUSTRALIA has finally made its way on to the medal tally in Sochi.

The ever-smiling Torah Bright’s grin was even wider as she stood on the Winter Olympic podium to accept her silver medal in the women’s half-pipe.

It follows on from her gold medal win in Vancouver four years ago and Fox Sports reports, she now becomes Australia’s most successful ever female Winter Olympian, eclipsing the feat of aerial skier Alisa Camplin, who won a gold and bronze in her decorated career.
