28-year-old Gable Tostee is accused of killing New Zealand woman Warriena Wright, who plunged to her death from his Avalon apartment within hours of meeting him on social dating website Tinder in August.
Tostee is also facing other charges including obstructing police, creating a public nuisance and driving offences unrelated to Ms Wright’s death.
A bail hearing in September was adjourned to give Tostee’s defence team time to compile a report on his mental state and alleged autism.
Tuesday’s hearing will be held in the Supreme Court in Brisbane.
