Gold Coast motorists are being urged to avoid a busy intersection in Burleigh Waters this morning following a serious crash.
A car, believed to be a 4WD and motorbike, collided at the intersection of Christine Avenue and Bermuda Street just before 11.00am on Thursday.
Emergency crews, including critical care paramedics, police and fire crews rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival they found a woman, understood to be the motorcyclist, suffering a leg injury and minor wounds.
She’s currently being treated at the scene by paramedics, however a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC she is in a stable condition.
Traffic in the area is quickly banking up in both directions, with motorists urged to allow for extra travel time or to seek alternative routes.
