Traffic chaos on M1 after truck rollover
Anyone driving down south over the border this morning is being warned to brace for massive delays.
A large truck has rolled northbound on the Pacific Motorway at Yelgun, just north of Tweed Valley Way.
The crash occurred just before 5.00am this morning, but is still causing nightmares for motorists as the clean-up continues.
All northbound lanes have been closed, with one southbound lane blocked off.
“Traffic is very heavy in both directions on the M1, especially southbound, as the large clean-up and salvage continues after the truck crash,” NSW traffic wrote.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area, or to divert via Tweed Valley Way via Murwillumbah to rejoin the M1 at Chinderah.
