AN ACCIDENT on the Pacific Motorway has thrown Gold Coast traffic into chaos this afternoon.
Motorists travelling in both directions off the M1 between Nerang and Palm Beach are facing extensive delays, following a single vehicle rollover near Robina.
Emergency services were called to the scene between exit 80 and 82 shortly before 3.30pm.

It is understood a silver sedan, believed to be a Camry, rolled and landed on its side.
Heavy congestion is occurring in the northbound lanes between Palm Beach and Robina.
Heavy congestion is occurring in the southbound lanes between Nerang and Robina.
Although the wreckage has been cleared, delays are still being experienced.
Motorists are advised to take care, and make use of local service roads or delay their journey if possible.
