UPDATE @ October 16 2018 1.30pm | TRAIN commuters will have a smooth ride home this afternoon, after an earlier incident at Woodridge station was resolved.
The issued caused major delays on the Gold Coast and Beenleigh train lines during the morning peak, with delays still being experienced around lunch time.
Delays of between 15 and 45 minutes, both inbound and outbound, were experienced at times throughout the morning.

EARLIER @ October 16 2018 8.30am | GOLD COASTERS are phoning in late to work this morning, with both the roads and train lines experiencing delays.
A signal fault at Woodridge station has pushed back the running times of trains on the Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines inbound to Brisbane City by about 40 minutes.
While those travelling from Brisbane to the Gold Coast will also need to add some time to their trip, with delays of 15 minutes.
The fault is also affecting the Airport, Doomben and Ferny Grove lines in both directions.

On the Pacific Motorway there is congestion in the usual hot spots, including northbound from Tugun to Currumbin and southbound from Pimpama to Oxenford.
There are also issues through the Logan stretch following a multi-car crash in the southbound lanes at Springwood, which has resulted in the closure of lanes.

Queensland Ambulance has confirmed, five people have been take to hospital in stable conditions following the crash.
