Traffic at a standstill on M1 following two separate crashes

MOTORISTS are being warned to brace for lengthy delays on the Pacific Motorway this morning following two separate crashes.

The first accident happened southbound, just after 6.00am, between Exits 35 and 38 at Beenleigh.

While the crash has now been cleared, major delays are still being experienced and side roads are also heavily congested.

Motorists are being urged to allow extra time for travel.

Meanwhile, a multi-vehicle crash has just happened southbound at Ormeau. It’s understood four vehicles have collided.

It’s not yet known how many people, if any, have been injured.
