TRAFFIC UPDATE: Crash in Nerang now cleared
UPDATE: Emergency services have now cleared the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Nerang-Broadbeach Road.
The collision led to major delays in the area, including a backlog of traffic on the M1.
EARLIER: A multi-vehicle accident has blocked part of Nerang-Broadbeach Road this morning.
The collision a car and a 4WD, near the intersection with Paradise Street.

Emergency services are on the scene and both lanes are blocked causing extensive delays in both directions.
The accident is also having an affect on the M1 as people try to take the off-ramp to Nerang.

It’s believed the drivers involved suffered minor injuries.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible.
