A man has been killed after a large tree branch fell on his tent while camping in Healesville, north-east of Melbourne.
The man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was sleeping in a tent at a caravan park on Don Road when tragedy struck around 5.45am on Saturday.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and desperately tried to save the man, but sadly, he could not be revived.

No one else was inside the tent at the time.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
