Trio charged after cops storm alleged Gold Coast drug house

TWO men and a woman have been charged after police raided a house on the Gold Coast and allegedly found a collection of dangerous drugs.

Officers from the city’s Rapid Action Patrol squad raided the Portreeves Place home at Arundel on Friday morning.

During the operation, officers allegedly found stashes of crystal meth and cannabis, as well as drug utensils, cash, scales, knives, fireworks and prescription medication.

Two men from Arundel aged 31 and 36 and a 25-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and have since each been charged with a long list of offences.

The woman and older man have been charged with possessing dangerous drugs and drug utensils.

The 31-year-old man is facing several additional charges of possessing dangerous, controlled and restricted drugs, as well as possessing a weapon and explosives.

All three scheduled to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on June 29.
