Trio charged after man attacked in violent home invasion
THREE men have been arrested and charged over a violent home invasion in Sydney’s west.
The trio is accused of bursting into a unit on Weston Street at Rosehill and assaulting a 24-year-old man just after 11.15pm on Wednesday.
A woman who was inside the unit managed to escape and call police. Officers swooped on the street and arrested the three intruders at the scene.
The 24-year-old man was treated by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Police say the man’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The three intruders, aged 22, 26, and 27, were taken to Parramatta Police Station and each charged with aggravated break and enter to commit a serious indictable offence.
They were refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
