Three people have been charged after a mass fight broke out at Sydney’s Coogee Beach at midnight, during which a Policeman was hit in the head with a bottle.
Police were called to Goldstein Reserve amid reports a large group of teenagers were arguing.
While trying to break up the crowd, a police officer was allegedly hit in the head by a bottle.

With the assistance of police from neighbouring commands, the crowd was eventually moved on.
Three teens aged 14, 16 and 21 were arrested and taken to Maroubra Police Station.
The 14-year-old boy was charged with malicious damage and breach of bail. He was refused bail to appear at a Children’s Court on Tuesday.
The 16-year-old male was charged with resisting arrest, offensive behaviour and failing to comply with police direction. He was refused bail to appear at a Children’s Court also on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old man was charged with resist officer in execution of duty and assault police in execution of duty. The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on Wednesday.
