Trio charged after teens injured in Sydney brawl

THREE people have been arrested and charged with affray following a wild brawl in Sydney this morning which left two teenage boys in hospital.

Police said officers were called to break up a fight between two groups of young men under the Town Hall steps on George Street just before 2am.

Two 15-year-old boys were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Three men, one aged 18 and two 19, were arrested at the scene and taken to Day Street Police Station where they were each charged with one count of affray.

The trio was granted condition bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 31 August.

Investigations are continuing and police say further charges are expected to be laid.
