A three-month investigation has led to the arrest of three people in relation to a violent kidnapping in Sydney’s west.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested at a hotel in Appin, while two 28-year-old men were nabbed at homes in Airds and Macquarie Fields.
Police say one of the 28-year-old men was behind the wheel of a car that picked up a man and woman on Pembroke Road in Minto about 1am on Saturday 19 March.

The other two men were passengers in the car.
One of the men allegedly assaulted the male they had picked up, before he was pushed from the vehicle and his bag was stolen.
The woman was also released from the car but was not injured and was able to help her friend who was taken to Liverpool Hospital with serious head injuries, a broken hand, ankle and shoulder.
He remains in rehabilitation.
Following their arrest, the trio has been charged with special aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery in company cause grievous bodily harm.
They will face Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday.
