Truck driver seriously injured in NSW crash

A TRUCK driver remains in a serious condition in hospital following a horror crash at Marulan, in the NSW Southern Tablelands on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident on the Hume Highway just before 4pm.

Officers arrived to find a Holden Commodore ute had collided with a prime mover.


The driver of the prime mover, a 45-year-old man, was severely injured in the collision.

He was first rushed to Goulburn Base Hospital and has since been transferred to Canberra Hospital he remains this afternoon in a serious condition.

The driver and passenger of the Holden Commodore utility, a 28-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, were treated by paramedics at the scene.

They did not require hospital treatment.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
