Truck rollover closes part of Pacific Motorway
Diversions are in place on the Pacific Motorway north of Sydney following a truck rollover.
The incident happened near the Windybanks Interchange at Berowra around 5.40am (AEDT) on Sunday.
The truck driver, a man believed to be aged in his 50s, was trapped for a short time, Police explained in a statement.
“All northbound lanes were closed while he was released and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with serious injuries,” it said.
Two other vehicles hit the crashed truck with one of the drivers suffering minor injuries and taken to Hornsby Hospital.
The other driver was uninjured.

“Officers from Kurig-Gai Police Area Command are in attendance and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
“The M1 Pacific Motorway remains closed northbound with diversions in place.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area or drive with caution due to the wet conditions.”
