Trucks collide on M1 adding to wet weather traffic woes on the Gold Coast

A TRUCK crash has closed part of the Pacific Motorway on the Gold Coast.

It’s understood two trucks collided in the northbound lanes of the M1 at Currumbin, near Exit 93, just after 4pm.

Traffic has been thrown into disarray, with long delays being experienced for those heading north through the area.

Meanwhile, traffic is also heavily congested in both directions between Robina and Palm Beach.

It is also very slow moving southbound from Beenleigh all the way down to Carrara.

Motorists are being urged to slow down and take it easy in the wet weather.
