A Gold Coast man has been busted allegedly driving more than six times over the legal limit just over the border.
Police were called to a multi-vehicle crash in Casuarina yesterday afternoon, where they were told a white Toyota Hilux had crossed onto the wrong side of the road.
It resulted in a crash with a blue Toyota Hilux driving in the other direction. A white Mercedes was also damaged by debris from the crash.

The driver of the white ute, a 36-year-old man from Tugun, underwent a roadside breath test which returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station, where he underwent a breath analysis and allegedly returned a reading of 0.331.
That’s more than six and a half times the legal limit of 0.5.
The man’s been charged with high-range drink driving, and not keeping left on the road.
His licence has been suspended, and he’s due to front court on Monday November 23.
Luckily no one was injured in the crash.
