TRAFFIC is beginning to build on the Pacific Motorway following a traffic crash in the Tugun Bypass Tunnel.
The accident happened around 4.50pm in the tunnel’s northbound lanes, with reports that the right hand lane is blocked.
Police, fire and ambulance crews are on scene.

Witnesses told myGC.com.au that it appeared a vehicle had slammed into a barrier before spinning out of control and coming to a rest facing oncoming traffic.
Heavy delays are being experienced with motorists advised to take care, and make use of local service roads if possible.
