Turnbull Government loses 13th straight Newspoll

The Federal Government has lost its thirteenth straight Newspoll.

The results, published in The Australian, put Labor at 53 percent, compared to the Coalition on 47 percent, on a two-party-preferred basis.

Malcolm Turnbull though remains preferred Prime Minister.

He has 45 percent of the vote, ahead of Bill Shorten on 33 percent.
