Tweed Gallery’s first international touring exhibition arrives

The Tweed Regional Gallery has welcomed its first international touring exhibition – a collection of prints by one of the most influential living artists, David Hockey.

The exhibition, David Hockney: Words & Pictures, has been drawn from the British Council’s collection directly from London. It includes original Hockney etchings, lithographs and photocollages.

Gallery Director Susi Muddiman said: “David Hockey has been an icon of British art for many years and continues to be a leader on the world stage; so to have such an amazing collection of Hockney works for the Gallery’s first international touring exhibition is a double coup for the Gallery and the Tweed.”
