THE Tweed Shire Council Pound has reopened to the public following widespread flooding.
The pound is taking enquiries about dogs or cats that may have been lost or found during the floods.
Residents looking for missing pets can call the pound on (02) 6676 6060.

The pound is located at Leddays Creek Road, Stott’s Creek and is open from 10am-4pm, seven days a week.
Those who may have found a lost dog or cat can either take the animal to the pound or call Council’s Contact Centre on (02) 6670 2400 to arrange for a council ranger to come and collect it.
