Two 13-year-old girls reported missing from Mudgeeraba found

UPDATE: Two 13-year-old girls that were reported missing from a Queen Charlotte Court residence at Mudgeeraba on Monday have this morning been located safe and well.

EARLIER: Police are seeking public assistance to help locate two 13-year-old girls reported missing from Mudgeeraba.

The girls were last seen at a residence in Queen Charlotte Court around 3pm yesterday.

Police hold concerns for their safety due to their age.

The first girl (pictured) is described as having a nose ring, being approximately 150cm tall, with a slim build, long dark brown hair, brown eyes.

The second girl (pictured) is described as being approximately 165cm tall, with a slim build, long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black and white patterned “Stussy” brand leggings, and carrying a black backpack.

The girls are known to frequent shopping centres in Broadbeach and the Surfers Paradise area.

Anyone who may have seen the girls or has any information about their whereabouts is being asked to contact police.
