Police are appealing for assistance after two teenage boys were approached in separate incidents at St Clair recently.
At 3.55pm on Monday 17 August 2015, a 15-year-old boy was getting off a school bus, near the intersection of Cook and McIntyne streets.
The boy ran past a black Subaru Impreza, displaying a red P-plate. A man, sitting behind the driver in the backseat, leaned out of the car window and offered the teenager a lift.

The boy ran from the area and the matter was reported to police.
Police conducted a canvass of the surrounding area without success.
The man has been described as Caucasian in appearance, about 20 years of age, with short black hair.
Another incident occurred about 3.20pm on Friday 14 August 2015, when a 15 year old boy was getting off a school bus, near the intersection of Rotorua and Feather streets.
A silver Mitsubishi stopped on the southern side of Rotorua Street and the male driver opened the car window. He spoke to the boy who became afraid and ran from the street.
Officers from St Marys Local Area Command were called and attended, speaking with the teenager and his mother.
The man has been described to police as about 20 years of age.
