UPDATE at 5:00 PM | A MAN and woman accused of stabbing another man and woman at a block of units in Sydney this morning have officially been charged over the attack.
Emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing at the complex on Walker Street in Redfern shortly after midnight.
Police said crews arrived to find a 35-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds and a 40-year-old man who had been knifed in the chest.

The woman was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital while the man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred.
A 31-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were arrested nearby and taken to Redfern Police Station where they spent Sunday being questioned by detectives.
Police released a statement on Sunday afternoon, confirming the pair had since been charged with specially aggravated enter dwelling with intent – inflict grievous bodily harm.
The woman was also charged with an additional count of resisting or hindering a police officer in the execution of duty.
Both were bail refused and due to appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday afternoon.

Police said the woman was found suffering from “multiple stab wounds” in a unit block at Redfern shortly after midnight.
The 35-year-old was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported to St Vincent’s Hospital.
The woman’s injuries are not life-threatening and she is believed to be in a stable condition, police said.
A man in his 40s was also taken to hospital with multiple injuries.
A second man and woman were arrested nearby and taken to Redfern Police Station where they spent the night being questioned by police.
