Two bikies charged with trafficking drugs across the south east
TWO men with links to the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang have been charged, accused of trafficking dangerous drugs across south-east Queensland.
Detectives arrested the pair after raiding properties in Loganlea, Aspley and Deagon on Thursday.
It was part of a ‘protracted investigation’ that followed the seizure of two-kilograms of methylamphetamine from inner-city apartments in Brisbane two months ago. One of the men arrested yesterday had already been charged over that incident.
The 30-year-old man, from Loganlea, has now been charged with trafficking a dangerous drug, possess dangerous drug and breach of bail.
A 33-year-old man from Aspley was also charged with trafficking a dangerous drug, possess dangerous drug and three warrants for failing to appear in court.
Both men were denied bail and will remain in custody ahead of their appearance in the Brisbane Magistrate Court today.
