Two charged with stealing buggy belonging to quadriplegic man

Two men have been charged after a buggy belonging to a 23-year-old quadriplegic man was stolen last month.

The pair, aged 29 and 27, handed themselves into Mascot Police Station yesterday where they were arrested.

The 29-year-old man was charged with steal motor vehicle, larceny, supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, possess prohibited firearm, not keep firearm safe and possess prohibited weapon.

The 27-year-old was charged with steal motor vehicle, larceny and goods in custody.

The modified buggy was parked outside a home in Pagewood on Sunday 5 June when it was stolen.

Despite the arrests, the stolen buggy has not yet been recovered and police continue to appeal to anyone who may have information on its whereabouts to contact police.

The vehicle is described as a grey/black coloured 2002 model Polaris RZR XP 4 900.
