A second child has been rushed to hospital after nearly drowning in water on the Gold Coast this afternoon.
Paramedics returned to Currumbin around 2.45pm, following reports a 2-year-old boy had been pulled from the water by lifeguards.
The child was treated at the scene, before being rushed to Tweed Heads Hospital in a stable condition.

It is the second near drowning incident at Currumbin within an hour today.
Paramedics rushed to Currumbin Creek around 1.00pm after receiving reports a 5-year-old boy had been involved in a near drowning incident.
The child was treated at the scene before being transported to Tweed Heads Hospital.
