Two crashes cause massive delays on major Gold Coast roads
THE Gold Coast’s two major roads have been thrown into chaos this morning after two separate crashes.
A crash between a truck and car happened on the M1 heading southbound at the Exit 89 on ramp at Tallebudgera. Police are on scene directing traffic while Queensland Ambulance confirmed they are treating two people.
The accident has forced traffic down to one lane southbound causing huge delays back to Robina.
The northbound lanes are also significantly impacted, with delays all the back towards the airport.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
Reedy Creek Road is also experiencing heavy congestion as people get off the motorway and take another route.
