Two dead after car and truck crash in NSW

Investigations are underway after two men died in a truck and car crash near Port Stephens.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Medowie Road around 11.30am today, after reports a sedan had collided with a truck.

The two male occupants of the car tragically died at the scene, though they haven’t yet been formally identified.

The truck driver was uninjured in the collision, and taken to John Hunter Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

A crime scene has been established at the site.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

What do U expect when the law inforcement n the RMS r so easy on giving out truck licence I think they need to harden up on all of it they can’t even see it or work it out
