Two hospitalised after car collides with horses on Gold Coast
Two people have been taken to hospital after their vehicle collided with two horses on the Gold Coast overnight.
Emergency crews were called to Plunkett Road in Cedar Creek just before 9.30pm.
Upon arrival, they found a car had accidentally crashed into two horses.
A male and female, whose ages are not known, were treated at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
Sadly, the two horses did not survive.
