Two hospitalised after car slams into tree on the Gold Coast
Two people have been hospitalised following a nasty crash on the southern Gold Coast this morning.
Emergency services were called to Currumbin Creek Road in Currumbin Valley around 6.30 am following reports of the crash.
It’s understood one vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree on the side of the road.
It wreaked havoc on both directions of traffic between Tomewin Mountain Road and Village Way for a short time.
Paramedics checked over two people at the scene, before taking them both to hospital for further treatment.
They’re both understood to be in stable conditions at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
